LENDING LIMITS
6 Books or magazines per member at one time
1 Video/DVD or Audio Cassette per member at one time.
LENDING PERIODS
Books and Magazines -3 weeks
Video and Audio Cassettes /CDs-1 week
Inter-Library Loan –as indicated by lending library
RENEWALS
Renewal can be made by phone, email or in person. If an item is not renewed it is considered overdue.
*NO renewals when there is a reserve (person waiting) for the item.
FINES
Overdue fines are charged for the days the library is open and the item(s) is not returned.
Our library is no longer issuing fines.
However, if materials are not returned within 30 days after the due date, the library will contact the borrower informing them of their late item(s). The library will suspend membership rights of anyone who has any materials that are 60 days or more overdue.
The library card(s) cannot be used until the overdue issue has been resolved
Each patrons is responsible for all materials borrowed on their card and will be billed replacement value for all losses and damages.
In lieu of overdue charges, donations are gratefully accepted
LOST MATERIAL
Members must pay for lost or damaged material. Replacement value is charged for newer items or:
Paperback- $10
Hardcover- $25
Video, Audio, DVD- $20
ILL- $20 or assessed by lending library
INTERLIBRARY LOANS
ILL is available to all members for material not in our collection. Check our material first. Limits may be imposed on the number of items on request at one time.
NON-RESIDENTS
Patrons wishing to obtain memberships and not living in, or owning property in either the Town of Morris or the R.M. of Morris are required to pay Annual Membership fees as follows:
(a) Family memberships – $30 per year
(b) Individual memberships – $10 per year
